2006 ARF David Ogilvy Awards - Call for Entries

One of the most important activities of the ARF is the annual David Ogilvy Awards. We named these awards after David Ogilvy because of his dogged defense of the critical role advertising research in pointing to the best advertising strategy, message and tonality.

Now in its 12th year of conception, the David Ogilvy Awards are still the only awards in the marketing community that celebrate the significant contribution that creative and intelligent research can make to marketing success. Having an ARF David Ogilvy Award trophy in your office reveals to your clients and prospects that you and your team can produce marketplace success.

This year the ARF David Ogilvy Awards features expanded categories offering additional chances to be a winner. The awards this year celebrate the role that intelligent research can play in developing marketing and advertising programs that deliver superior ROI.

The 2006 ARF David Ogilvy Awards will be given in four categories (Service/Retail/Media, Considered Purchases, Package Goods and Business to Business). Additionally, this year we’re introducing The Ogilvy Innovator Award recognizing breakthrough innovation in any dimension (creative, media, research, etc.) of a successful campaign.

The 2006 Ogilvy Awards will recognize campaigns which leveraged research insights to produce returns on investment, particularly those involving integrated marketing campaigns.
