Kristine Welker was named Publisher of CosmoGIRL! magazine in 1999. She joined
CosmoGIRL! from Ladies' Home Journal, where she held various posts in advertising
sales from 1989 to 1999, most recently as advertising director.
Prior to her publishing career, she worked at Wells Rich Greene Advertising.
Welker is a member of Advertising Women of New York and Cosmetic Executive Women.
