Jayne Jamison was appointed VP/Publisher of Seventeen in July 2003. Seventeen
is the leading magazine for young women ages 12-24, reaching nearly 14 million
readers nationwide each month. For more than 50 years, the magazine has been
an influential force in youth culture.
Prior to joining Seventeen, Jamison was VP/publisher of Redbook and also served as publisher of Victoria. Before joining Hearst,
Jamison was group publisher of the parenthood group at Gruner
& Jahr USA Publishing, prior to which she was the publisher of the Reader's Digest Association's
American Health.
Jamison also worked at advertising agencies such as Grey Advertising and N.W.
Ayer.
