Debbie Stoller, is co-founder, current editor, and owner of Bust. Her
young, spirited magazine has helped to pioneer "girlie feminism,"
where pop culture and typically feminine pastimes (knitting, vintage frocks)
are part of feminists' lives. An anthology of articles from Bust has
been published as a popular book: The Bust Guide to The New Girl Order.
Stoller--and the success of Bust--prove that young feminists want their humor,
style, and sex, in addition to equal pay and political gains. Stoller holds
a Ph. D. in Women's Psychology from Yale.
